Tampa Mama Loves: Del Frisco’s Grille Tampa, Florida

No Comments Ad, Adventures, Review, Sponsored, Tampa, Tampa Bay

We are always on the look out for new places to eat in Tampa. In November 2014, Del Frisco’s Grille opened right accross from International  Plaza. We haven’t been until yesterday and we wish we had been here sooner. We were enticed to try them out as July is National Ice Cream month and from July 17-26, you can get their Adult Milkshake half price with the purchase of any entree. (And trust me, you’ll definitely want to visit… Even if it’s just for the milkshake!)

A great place to mingle at the bar with friends or sit rooftop with family. The outside area was a perfect place for us to sit while we enjoyed a nice breeze and atmosphere.

Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai Comes to Tampa, Florida: Ignite Your Wanderlust Soul

2 Comments Ad, Adventures, Review, Tampa, Tampa Bay

For those who dream of wanderlust, the show Cirque du Soleil show Varekai, that will be touring in Tampa in early August 2015, will ignite the passion of the nomadic soul, that passion to wander as the word “Varekai” (pronounced ver•ay•’kie) means “wherever” in the Romany language of the gypsies. As a lover of travel and wanderlust dreamer, I’m excited to see  show and dive into the magical world that is Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai.

First Day of School vs. Last Day of School: A Collection of Photos of How Far We Have Come

2 Comments Adventures, Kids, Lifestyle, Parenting, Raising Children

It’s the end. We are crossing the finish line of the school year and let me tell you, it ain’t pretty. It is definitely not pretty when you finish any kind of marathon you have worked so hard for. You are tired. You are a wreck and you honestly, look like a train wreck. But you finished and that’s all that matters. We are almost there (maybe some crossed the line this week) but I wanted to recap how far we have come (or actually how far we have fallen) from that first day of school.

First day of school be like:

A Vision of Hope: The CARES Foundation Gala

No Comments Adventures, CAH, Personal, Raising Children

I’m actually living my dream. Right now. I’m in a state of euphoria that seems somewhat surreal because all my wishes came true and are happening before my eyes. The ones I prayed and prayed and prayed for that I wished so hard on every star and promised God the world if he would make them come true.

I get to see my son play baseball. I get to watch my daughters in a recital. My children excel in school. They are kind. They are happy. They aren’t sick. I get to put my children to bed each night in their own bed. They are healthy happy and living a normal life. THIS is the life I dreamed of that I wasn’t sure would be a reality.
