Walt Disney World Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party 2017

Its Midnight. It’s dark. I’ve got one sleeping and 3 on the Peoplemover. I need a coffee. My kids have had enough sugar to last them until next Halloween. But It’s the best night ever!

Not so sure if the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is for you? Well, this party on Main Street is the hottest ticket in town as it will sell out nightly the closer we get to Halloween (and prices do increase as you get closer to Halloween). With a limited number of tickets available each night, shorter lines, trick or treats galore, themed Halloween shows, firework displays and parades will have this ticketed event be on your list of must-did for the season.  Florida State Fair- Farris Wheel Fair Rides

The Florida State Fair began in 1904 near what is now more well-known as the University of Tampa. It was there that the Mid-Winter Festival continued to attract families and entertain them with games and popcorn, or competitions for the best bull or the the best pie. But it wasn’t until February 1977, 40 years ago, that it first took place where it still takes place today. Now attracting over half a million visitors each February, we are the first Fair on the State Fair circuit.

Best Healthy Travel Snacks

1 Comment Ad, Healthy Living, Sponsored, Travel, Travel Tuesday

This content has been sponsored by Gerber Lil’ Beanies. Thank you for supporting Tampa Mama!

We love to travel and going on the road means we are going to need some snacks! I like to make sure our snacks are healthy and fun, but also portable and easy! Sometimes, it’s hard to make that snack fits into ALL categories!

We loved learning about Gerber Lil’ Beanies!

img_7219.jpg

The Gerber Lil’ Beanies were a perfect addition to our road trip snacks as a healthy snack that was so good! Made from navy beans and rice flour, it was good to point out to the kids these were made with beans!

Being that these snacks are non- GMO as well as have no artificial coloring or flavors, they were a big hit with the kids and that’s always important!

In addition to these, I like packing a few pouch applesauces, carrot sticks, string cheese, hummus and apple slices, we are set and ready to go on the road!

Travel Tip: Use cookie baking tins to give kids an easy tray to take on the road. It’s perfect for keeping all snakes separate while in the car!

And as a busy Mom of four, I love knowing that my littlest one is getting 2g of protein and 1g of fiber per serving! Every lil’ bit counts!

As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Sponsored content is created by Marisa Langford and my opinions are never bought.

LEGOLAND Florida: World Premiere of The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure

1 Comment Adventures, Family Travel, Movies, Orlando, Travel, Travel Tuesday

January 28th is not just any day…especially to a die-hard Lego fan. It’s actually International Lego Day, which means we are celebrating the anniversary of when the patent for the original Lego brick system was filed, in 1958.

So how old does that make Lego? 58 years young and those little bricks continue to inspire and educate and kids each and every day.

Living in Tampa, and only an hour away from the second largest LEGO themed park, LEGOLAND Florida in Central Florida, we often visit to explore this massive amazingly fun park, filled with rides, LEGOS, attractions, LEGOS and more LEGOS!

Today, January 28th, is also the day of the World Premiere  movie for The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure!

We were invited to the world premiere at LEGOLAND Florida for their red carpet Hollywood- style premiere and it was awesome (or SUPER as I should say!)

Mocktail and fancy glasses for the kids, lots of character meet and greets, kid celebrities and of course the ne movie!!

If you loved The Lego Movie, you ar going to LOVE this short 3D film that includes Emmet, Wyldstyle and new  friends that will reunite in an all new adventure!  And who is Risky Business?!  No spoilers here but get ready to help Emitt and Wyldstyle save the day!

The 3D movie with “4D” effects like wind, water and fog, will play at LEGOLAND Florida and LEGOLAND Discovery Centers in 2016.

SUPER fun new attraction you wontbwantbto miss the next time you visit LEGOLAND Florida!

It’s Unkitty!

Working the red carpet with Emitt & Wyldstyle!

Kid-friendly mocktails in fancy glasses!

Confetti everywhere!

Meeting up with Jen Reyneri, a fellow Trekaroo writer!
